Our Mission

  To support both families and ABA providers by delivering compassionate, high-quality care in natural environments and to collaborate with organizations to strengthen and elevate services across the industry.   

At Seaside Behavior Services, we are committed to:

  • Expanding access to care by reducing delays and providing timely, individualized ABA services to families across Florida. 
  • Delivering meaningful, real-life support through therapy that builds communication, independence, and confidence in natural environments. 
  • Elevating clinical quality by offering consultation and mentorship to behavior analysts seeking guidance, collaboration, or support with complex cases. 
  • Supporting ethical, sustainable growth for new and expanding ABA providers through practice management and leadership consultation.

Experience Matters

 

At Seaside Behavior Services, our leadership team brings decades of combined experience across clinical care, operations, and community-based service delivery.

Our Founder and President, Tawnya Toney brings over 20 years of experience as a behavior analyst, with a career dedicated to expanding access to high-quality ABA services for families across Northwest Florida. She has led regional operations, provided clinical oversight to teams of practitioners, and served as a Crisis Consultant. As a certified Safety-Care® trainer, she brings additional expertise in safety and compassionate, responsive care.

As Partner and Executive Vice President, Tahra Cessna brings over 20 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis, with a focus on building and scaling high-quality, ethical services. Her leadership spans founding organizations, opening a nonprofit school for children with autism, and serving in executive roles across national ABA providers. She has contributed to research, presented at national and international conferences, and remains actively involved in advancing the field through teaching, mentorship, and community leadership.

Together, we bring both clinical depth and real-world leadership experience, allowing us to support not only the individuals and families we serve, but also the professionals and systems that surround them.

At Seaside, this experience translates into thoughtful, person-centered care that focuses on communication, independence, and meaningful progress in everyday life. We also invest in mentoring and developing our team, ensuring that every family is supported by skilled, compassionate, and well-trained professionals.

Our vision is to expand access to ABA services across the Panhandle and South Florida, becoming the preferred provider of in-home ABA therapy, and supporting other leaders in the ABA community to deliver ethical, high-quality care. Our goal is to foster growth, both for the individuals and families we serve and for the professionals who make this work possible.
